Into the depths of the crater. And things and stuff. Wow that's a lot of moss. So much glow.

I hope you guys had a good weekend and day of chocolate and valentines. I participated in the CF exchange and it was really fun! :D

Thank you! I've been excited to draw this place for a long time. So yayyy lighting and all.

And in the literal sense, water is acid to them. Their pH is weird. :)

If water is a powerful acid where on the pH scale would they consider neutral? What would they think of a stronger acid, like HCl? What would they think of something strongly basic, like bleach?

And the lighting... Goals, Spell. Seriously goals.

Yep, the water thing! Here there be trouble, probably.

Thank you, Prof! I love shading, it's one of my favorite things about this place. Though I'm partial to hard cell shading instead of soft.

Considering the amount of sulfur they eat, it's no wonder that they consider Dihydrogen Oxide a dangerous acid!

Dihydrogen monoxide rears it's ugly, colorless head again! So it's a powerful acid in this world huh? Powerful in the sense of easily giving up that H atom, or powerful in the sense of potent and harmful? If it's the latter, then these guys must drink bleach and bathe in ammonia LOL.

Glow moss night glow party! Wear your best glowmoss attire!

It's a powerful in the sense of harmful acid, it acts similar to HCL in their case. As for their diet, well they readily use elemental sulphur in their diets. ;D

Oh yes, dihydrogen monoxide can be most dangerous, better be very careful now! xD

Thank you! Glowing things are my favorite. ;D

Well, for them it actually is a problem. So a water balloon fight would be especially bad! Good thing no one's trying to have a party right now.

Concentrated vegetation around one spot.
Sounds like a weird oasis of sorts. Something is either there or something crashed there.

Oh my. So, there could be like, giant acid pits in there without them realizing it because they can't get through all the growth. That's potentially bad.

Spelledeg on 24th Feb 2016, 11:54 AM

[edit] [delete] [reply]

view Spelledeg's profile
Correct! There could be acid pits, which is part of why they need to clear everything. Buttt, the moss is more prevalent than it's supposed to be. Normally there's much less, if any at all.

Yesss, the long awaited death water makes itself known xD

Nope! They don't swim/can't swim, and as far as bathing goes, they bathe in oil or a dust concoction :D
